How Spray Foam Insulation Arlington Works

Spray Foam Insulation Arlington insulates and air seals homes, shops and metal buildings in Arlington and the cities around it, from Grand Prairie and Mansfield to Euless, Bedford and Hurst. We spray open-cell and closed-cell foam, blow cellulose and fiberglass, coat low-slope roofs with spray foam, and pull out old insulation that is matted, contaminated or in the way of a better job.

Every job starts with a look at the building. In this part of Texas that usually means the attic first: how deep the existing insulation is, where it has been crushed by storage or foot traffic, how the ducts and air handler are run, how the attic is vented and whether the roof deck shows signs of past leaks. We check the walls we can reach, the garage ceiling under any bonus room, and the top plates and penetrations where conditioned air escapes. For shops and metal buildings we look at the panels, the framing, the doors and how the space will be heated or cooled.

Then we write it down. Each part of the job gets its own line with the material, thickness or depth, target R-value and price. If blown-in insulation would do the same job for less than foam in part of the house, the quote says so.

How we work

  • See it first. No number goes on paper until we have been in the attic or the building.
  • One line per area. Foam type, thickness, R-value and price, area by area.
  • Seal, then insulate. Gaps around chases, top plates and fixtures are closed before new insulation covers them.
  • Plan for the heat. Summer attics here get extremely hot, so we schedule attic work for the cooler part of the day where we can.
  • Clear rules on re-entry. We tell you how long to stay out after spraying and ventilate the space before you return.
  • Nothing starts without a yes. Work begins only after you approve the written quote, and any change is agreed in writing.
